p.s. if the OP had wanted you to give her suggestions based on her style, she would have TOLD you her style. Omygee.

They often do not come up on the 5 best places to shop, so, she asked for the best, not where you shop. Every single one of these shops has come up on here for various reasons.

SSD as being too cookie cutter and every thing looks the same.

TDC as being too hard to navigate and has far too many designers.

SO for a variety of reasons, which different from month to month.

There, did I put in enough effort for you this time?

------------------------

I wanted to post something a bit more rational than the last person, who seems a tad angry (although I agree with her, you are being a little thick). But then I read this, and am almost as annoyed as her.

The original question wasn't "what are the best shops" or "where do you shop". So why would you assume that this person's answers had anything to do with where they shop? This answer had to do with where the person thought there were good owners and an active community. I never read anything that said this person shopped there (though I will bet they do).

I'm also over the whole "SSD is too cookie cutter" argument, as those who shop there like the themey stuff and obviously it's working; it's a very successful store. TDC has no more designers than many other shops (in fact, back when the "reviewers" here on the blog were dealing with SDD, that rat-hole had just as many designers, if not more - and so do many other shops. I am assuming that TDC has a large designer list because it's a good place to be. It's not bleeding designers like 9th, for instance. Speaking of which, I would add Lizzy to the list of owners who seem to show up in the drama news a lot. I don't actually think she has/creates drama, but she's always brought up here and involved in something, and she can't hold on to designers to save her life.

You are SO FUCKING STUPID. The OP never asked you what store you think SHE should/would want to sell at. The original question was actually what store YOU would want to sell at. So you can answer with your own opinions, brainiac. This means that everything you just wrote, AGAIN, is idiotic. READ THE ORIGINAL FUCKING QUESTION. And no, I didn't wake up grouchy. I got grouchy after reading your stupidity. Twice.

No wonder there's a recession.

Why your bedroom? Are you way more stupid in your bedroom than in other rooms of your house? And before you get super pissed, I'm just kidding. I thought your statement was funny.

My attempt to answer the original question about shops worth selling at. I would consider selling at any of these (or I have sold there and thought it was a good shop):

Digi Chick
Scrap Orchard
Sweet Shoppe
Lily Pad
After Five
Ninth & Bloom
Scrapbook Graphics
Catscrap

My, my, my people. Let's get a grip, shall we?

In review, here was the original question: "If you were a decent designer looking for a new store, which one would you go to and why? Which are the best stores?"

So I'd have to say that the person who immediately answered "whichever one suits your style" was being lazy and snotty. Even though I'm not going to lash out and throw a swearing-hissy-fit about it, the point made earlier is good: the OP didn't ask "which one suits my style?" She asked, "which one would YOU go to and why?" Meaning: you should answer with your own opinions.

How hard is that?

Here, I'll answer my own question. Apparently it is quite hard to do, because at least one of you (or more? no idea how many people are in this pissing match) keeps answering as though you think the OP doesn't want your actual opinion or reasoning behind it.

I weep for the future. This is simple reading comprehension, people.

Anonymous said...

p.s. Congrats to 9:48pm for finally comprehending the OP's question and answering with some substance. At least there are 2 of us with a brain here. Yippee! Don't you wish there were more? We're surrounded.

What makes you so sure it was the same person who came through a while ago ranting and swearing... who also posted earlier today? You must be a mind-reader if you can tell that. I happen to know it was 2 different people. So no, the most recent wasn't already grouchy before post 2. But nice try, a regular Sherlock Holmes, you are.

Since no one has ever come forward with specifics against Stacy Carlson, I'd drop her off your list of "bad reputation" owners. I've asked over and over for examples and no one can give them to me. I read back every post on this blog and found nothing. So I would say that she isn't the issue with GP if you have one. Put up or shut up already. You were able to dish specifics on the others mentioned so if you can't dish specifics on her, stop bringing up her name.
October 20, 2011 4:09 PM

This was Stacy and GP. I was offered a spot there and turned it down - I don't want to deal with that kind of bullshit.

Why is Boutique Cute Dolls leaving SBG?

Anonymous said...

I totally get that Steph doesn't buy digi kits.
I totally get that she prefers to make her own items from scratch and learn her program, practice, etc.
I totally agree that she is very talented at her craft.
But what is she doing hanging out at digiSHOPtalk for so she can take stabs at people who scrap with kits every chance she gets?
Did she miss the original intent that was the freedom to talk about products for sale?

WV= huciati: people like Paris Hilton, Kesha, Lindsey Lohan. Pronounced hoochie-ati.

Anonymous said...

^^^^ One word, Maya. Im guessing she wasn't happy at SBG. I was shocked she went to SBG in the first place.

Anonymous said...

7:10 AM - I guess you meant stefdesign @ DST?

I found her way of talking mildly condescending at times but I never felt she's as bad as people on this blog made her out to be. I don't buy kits either - but only because I'm on CTs - which should have made me the kind of people she "hates" the most. But she's never been anything but nice to me and my pages. How about we just live and let live? ;)

Anonymous said...

I use to tell my son that if you have to cuss to get your point across, then you are showing how illiterate you really are because one should be able to make their point without having to swear with every other word. So now let's see what you can do with that?? and yeah I get that it's a smak blog but smak blog or not using utterly foul language isn't necessary to smak someone. See I did it without having to use one cuss word and make my point!!!

-------
Her Facebook page says there's something in the works and will announce I think in November.

Anonymous said...

I hate it when designers "retire" then come back a few months later.

Latest one is Re Kneipp (spelling?). I understand he wanted to leave SBG because of Maya, but to retire then come back to A5 a couple months later - that's just tacky.

Anonymous said...

Isn't the retiring thing common though? I see so many retire and come back over and over again.

Anonymous said...

There's been lots of specifics about Stacy. Go back and read the archives. Can't be bothered? Then don't make such a broad statement until you have the facts.

Then you didn't look hard enough. There's quite a few very specific instances. Maybe you got tired and missed them.
---------------
No dear, maybe you got tired and forgot to mention anything specific other than generic statements like "she's a bitch" or "she was once rude to me". Cry me a river. And no, I read the archives to see what all the hoopla was about on here. Not just to see what was said about a specific person. So no, I'm not lazy, I DID bother to read your precious archives, and NO ONE has said anything. Prove it. I say again, put up or shut up. I did my part and read all your lunatic rantings on here for the past however many years. So prove it. Too lazy to go back and show me your specific gripe, then don't make stupid statements since you obviously didn't even read what was written in the first place before reacting. And yes, it was tiring reading this drivel but no, I didn't miss something that wasn't there. And no, I'm not angry or obsessed and yes, I realize that the two responses may or may not be from the same person. When I say "you" I do not mean YOU, I mean the collective you. If I didn't need the information, I wouldn't ask for it.

Anonymous said...

And since I'm not privy to the private designer area at DST I cannot see your "specific" gripes simply by you posting a link to a private area. Oh and for the record, I am not now and never have been Stacy.

Lastly, thank you to 7:48. We are mostly women here I'm sure. Please let's show our intelligence by refraining from the use of profanity.

Anonymous said...

If you "need" the information, you'd be a designer and would have privvy to the DSR. If you're not a designer, then it seems unlikely you would "need" any information about any store owner.

Anonymous said...

Dear 10:45/10:55 -- if you're not Stacy, then why so defensive about her? And if you're not a designer, then why do you "need" this info about her?

The bottom line is that the thread someone posted for you to read contains info (completely true and not arguable) about an instance in which a designer told Stacy she was leaving GP to take an exclusive position at another store... and Stacy violated the terms of the contract that designer had by restricting the designer from having a "departure sale" and also (if I remember correctly?) barring that designer from her FTP, or something like that. She cost the designer potentially hundreds of dollars, even though the designer's contract stated that she could have a departure sale. And she did all of this just because she wanted to, and because nobody could stop her. She doesn't act professionally, and she is rude to designers/customers, and generally doesn't have a good reputation.

And this is just ONE instance of this. We're not going to post them all here. It's your job to search them out, if you "need" this info so desperately. But just because you haven't searched it all out, don't come here ranting to us about how we should let it go b/c we don't make a friggin list for you on this blog.

Grow up.

Anonymous said...

I am grown up. Seems you have not. A designer is not the only one who might need or want this information. And if you look back, I have never defended this person, only asked for proof. If it was you people were attacking, I'm sure you would like proof as well. I also think, if you bothered reading, you would see that I have done my research. And, I have never ranted here. Only used intelligent words and reasons and asked people who are speaking poorly of someone to share with me the reasons for their opinions. No ranting, just intelligence. I can see why that might cause you to get your feathers ruffled. If that situation you relate is true, then I totally understand. That is the type of REAL information I am looking for and have been unable to find. I suspect that I know who that designer is and the reason why I would have never heard that story is because she is a kind and decent person who wouldn't air her dirty laundry in a public forum, even when she's been wronged. So I suggest you grow up since you obviously are not mature enough to handle a civil, intelligent and forthright conversation but instead must read laziness, defensiveness, etc. into a simple request for detailed information. My reasons for needing it are none of your concern. And my choice to not be involved in the private forums at DST are also none of your concern. If they were, I would tell you in as anonymously a way I could. If that will make you understand and more willing to share details, I will think about how I can do that in a way that protects your and my identities so that we will not be harassed. But please, don't attack me for asking in a decent manner for information. Thank you for what you did share.

Wanting or 'needing' this information simply because you are nosey is not a valid reason.

I remember at SBG, Re had (Junior Designer) beside his name. I can see that he was young but somehow, why use "Junior"? And then Sudio Dutchie (who left and then was in The Lab) was quoted by Maya as an "apprentice". Interesting how newer designers are called (or considered) in the store.

Then why qualify them of "Junior" or "apprentice"? I had noticed the "junior" attribute beside Re's name, and I wondered how long was a designer "junior". Until they turn 18? Until they are there for a specific amount of time? It just caught my eye that whenever I would peak in the store, Re was "junior". I had not checked shortly before he left so I don't know if he "graduated" from the "junior" label he had. Anyone noticed?

Dutchie WAS Studio Dutchie. So she must have been "studio worthy", despite the fact that she was considered "apprentice".

Anonymous said...

Why did she go from Studio to "apprentice" then?

Anonymous said...

She had the name Studio Dutchie, but when Maya talked about her, she said she was "interning" with her (and to me "interning" means the same thing as "apprentice"). It is how Maya refered to her, not how she was listed in the store.

She didn't. She was always Studio Dtuchie (intern)

Ah, but your original statement, if it was you, implied that everything she made was bad.

Anonymous said...

Then why qualify them of "Junior" or "apprentice"? I had noticed the "junior" attribute beside Re's name, and I wondered how long was a designer "junior".
-----

Maybe it was because he was only 14. He was still Studio whatever, but had the junior appellation as well.

Anonymous said...

Maybe those turning 50 should be "senior"? Why qualify a designer by his age? If a designer is thought to be good enough to sell at SBG, the age should not matter. Unless there is a legal issue involved?

Anonymous said...

What does it matter if he was called junior?

IRL he would be junior and someone over the age of 55 would be senior.

What the heck difference does it make?

Anonymous said...

In High School, you have Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior, I don't see anyone arguing about that. Isn't that just labeling as well? Why can't they just be year whatever instead.

Anonymous said...

It should not make any difference but how would it look if a store was listing their designers as "male" or "female" beside their name? You are right, it should NOT matter, so why use it?

Anonymous said...

I wouldn't care if designers were listed as male or female, it doesn't bother me, as long as it's correct. How would it look? I don't think I would even notice. I mean, it's not like I'm looking for the restroom, is it?

p.s. Congrats to 9:48pm for finally comprehending the OP's question and answering with some substance. At least there are 2 of us with a brain here. Yippee! Don't you wish there were more? We're surrounded.
---

She listed a bunch of shops, with no reasoning behind it, and that's an answer with substance? If that constitutes having a brain, I'm glad I don't have one.

Anonymous said...

Does it really matter why SBG put "junior" next to Re's name in the shop? Maybe they just thought of it as something fun for their resident teenager. It probably worked in his favor because it made people curious about what kind of work a kid could put out. And now lots of people love his kits.

Is there anyone else out there who is surprised and/or thinks it's sorta odd when a male is a digital scrapbook designer? Or a scrapper in general? For instance, I think Sir Scrap A Lot's products/pages are quite good, but I simply cannot help being surprised every time I see one of them. Like, a man made this? Especially when I see his pages. I know that's wrong, but it's my visceral gut reaction. When I think about it rationally, I don't feel that way; but my gut DOES. Anyone else? Discuss.

I always think it's refreshing that a man actually takes such an active roll in capturing his family memories. I don't think it's "odd" as much as I think how rare it is. The fact that it's rare is sad.

Anonymous said...

I think the fact that Re is a male and young makes his products stand out. I like the quirky energy in his kits. It shouldn't be an issue why Maya lebeled him Junior, especially if Re was okay with that. It creates a buzz and the buzz sells.

Completely agree, and you raise a good point. It's probably the rarity of it that makes my gut react as though it's odd. Rare is a much better way of looking at it / putting it, though.

Does Sir ScrapAlot strike anyone else as being a little...feminine? I've seen posts and kits that seem inspired by things in pop culture that gay men are drawn to. Examples: Glee and Lady Gaga. None of the adult men in my life watch Glee or listen to Lady Gaga and Britney Spears. Just sayin'.

Seriously? I'm a woman and I don't watch Glee or listen to Lady Gaga or Britney Spears. Does that mean I'm secretly a man trapped in a woman's body? Are we seriously so lacking in drama here that we are going to start outing people based on TV show preferences?

I thought the same until I saw his layouts with a wife and kids on them.

Anonymous said...

OP here and I've thought the same thing, though... not that he's gay or anything, but that his layouts are strangely girly. Lots of scallops and pink and flowers etc. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I know if my husband were to start being the one to document our family's memories, he would do it in a really graphic, blocky, non-embellished way. More magazine-ad-inspired. Sir ScrapAlot's pages are very girly. So maybe I should take my hat off to him, for making pages for his daughters. Who knows. Or maybe he is just a clever businessman, and knows what sells and is taking advantage. Either way, it's definitely unorthodox. For a guy. Just sayin.

I have been perusing SM and while the news is unexpected, we all should have known something was up when Chelle left. (And if Shen ever leaves Catscrap, we'll know something is up with that store, too.)

I've been looking objectively at the designs there, and I'm sorry, but some (most) of those kits are so overpriced it's no wonder sales have been down! I would never pay $7.99 for what I see in the shop.

Back to Reviews.

Atomic Cupcake is having her action sale now, and I was wondering if somebody would add a store called Atomic Cupcake on the DSTHOF website and people could start adding reviews of her actions. There are so many of them and I don't know if there are 15 good ones to make the bulk $35.00 purchase worthwhile.

I already know the first three posts will be from designers who turn their noses up at actions, much like Steph on DST who in turn turns her nose up at your kits, but for the rest of us mere mortals maybe this would be helpful.

Anonymous said...

I bought the bundle when I first started designing. Some of them are hit and miss.

Ones I use:
Scallop
Chipboard

Ones that I think are not good:
Template Flower
Create A Bow (only got it because I had credits left)
Acrylic Effect (same as above) - if you google acrylic you can make your own in no time and just reuse that.
Fabric Brad cuts off the top of the brad so it's square-ish, not round.

My DH watches Glee and he loves Lady Gaga. He is about as far from feminine as I am male. He doesn't scrap but he can sew and his dad used to make quilts. I don't find it weird that a man scraps at all. I think it shows a well-adjusted male that scraps openly.

Yes I agree, and I am both lazy and stupid, so let the reviews start rolling! Thanks to 3:13. It's good to know the circles have flat sides - I hate that. so I'll stay away from anything that is supposed to be perfectly round!

They are all over used, and almost no one uses them in an original manner. I wouldn't get any of them.

Anonymous said...

I used to use actions (mainly the free ones from Atomic's site each month, but I bought a couple from her too), until I figured out how much easier it is to work with styles. There are a lot of styles that do the same things that Atomic's actions do, but look even more realistic and are way less of a PITA to install/work with. So I switched to styles. I get most of mine at Sugarhill, from Eyeinspire, Mommyish, Just Jaimee, or KimB. They usually run some good sales every once in a while, and it ends up being cheaper than Atomic Cupcake by far. JMO for what it is worth.

Anonymous said...

I still use actions some but I agree that styles seem to look better and are more realistic. I also randomly will run an action and half way through on some of them it stops. I use the chipboard one some but honestly prefer Mommyish's style now.

They aren't horrible but I would say save your money and buy they styles around iDSD and you will save money and get a better return :)

I have almost all her actions. When some started out designing she was about the only one that had great actions. I like most of them though some aren't quite as realistic as I like, nevertheless, I don't necessarily think that all her actions were made to look like "real" items since back many years, actions and styles and designing weren't in to the real looking stuff and many still don't necessarily like everything to look like they bought it from a scrapbook store!! I don't think using actions is lazy at all. Many use hers as a tool like they would a brush or a shape and that's how she expects them to be used.

Many who make actions today are doing no more then taking a template and asking you to pick a color and wham bam thank you mam. That to me is not an action. I also love styles but I don't think that styles always give me the same look as actions and while eyeinspires are good, who wants 15 styles of the same only different color.

and no I am not Atomic Cupcake should anyone think that. I'm even getting the $20 credits for some of her new stuff. The credits are good for up to two years.

Anonymous said...

meant that to say 20 credits. Also you might find someone to share with you as she allows that and you just need to let her know as she'll split the credits so both of you can get what you want.

Anonymous said...

----------

Buying some actions is lazy because you, generic you, haven't bothered to learn your program enough to make your own. I use actions all the time, but my own actions.

There are some very complicated actions out there and buying those is probably better than trying to make your own, however, ACs actions aren't in that realm.

SOOOOOO true. Actions and scripts cann be great tools but too many "designers" think they so clever in making the most simplistic ones. From what I have seen around, I honestly wonder if they sell. yep, me too. I've only seen that one announcement that someone posted here. There are alot of designers there, some good, some not so good that will be looking for new homes. Jady Day is guesting at After 5 - and altho I think SSD would be a better fit for her, maybe she will stay there. and Kimla, who just left After 5 is opening a new shop...maybe some will head there? Some of the newer ones at SM came from TDC...maybe they will go back there, IF the owner takes them?

I'm on CT for 2 of them, one is going to another shop and the other is retiring.

Anonymous said...

-------------

I only count one person who came from TDC, and that's Elise's Pieces. It was a really recent move though (just in the past couple of months), which makes me wonder why Andilynn would have let someone uproot themself from somewhere they'd been for years if she knew this was going to happen. You can't tell me that a store owner like her, after all this time, would make this sort of decision (to close) without considering it for a while. I have to believe that she's known this was possible for a while now, in which case she shouldn't have been taking on new designers.

Anonymous said...

Jennifer Labre also came from TDC. She's the one that posted at DST about moving.

This happens often enough that it's a lesson to be learned. Exclusivity may work in shops that have always been exclusive or who have been exclusive for years, but it's a tell-tale sign of trouble for any other store.

Greed is a powerful force. Just ask the former store owners who tried this game and failed.

Anonymous said...

I for some reason think a few of the SM designers will end up at 9th & Bloom. No inside knowledge, just think a few will land there. The CU designers over at Sugar Hill Co. maybe. It will be interesting to see who goes where, who retires and who just disappears.

Anonymous said...

With the surprising move of Chelle to SO a bit ago, I would guess some of the better designers from SM would follow her lead and go to SO.

I would also guess some will go to 9th.

The pathetic designers will likely fall off the planet and no one will miss them.

Anonymous said...

Weren't there 3 winners at DSAI thought they all won a spot at SM. I haven't seen any of them show up there though and I've kept an eye out.

Anonymous said...

With the surprising move of Chelle to SO a bit ago, I would guess some of the better designers from SM would follow her lead and go to SO.

-----------------------

I don't think it was surprising at all that Chelle went to SO. It's a thriving community w/ a focus on participation/scrapping that not all shops have. Chelle was always one of the biggest participants around the SM community, and I will bet you she got tired of carrying all of the weight around that place. SO was/is a perfect fit for her.

As for other SM designers ending up there, I suppose I would be surprised if SO took very many of them. There comes a point when a shop is "full" and can't support an endless number of designers, and I will doubt SO can - or would want to - support very many new designers just b/c they're now without a home. Maybe one or two, but no more than that.

Trish has posted a new palette poll for the December blog train, it's in the DCR at DST and also on the facebook page for the blog train. I'm interested to see if she can actually stick to her deadline this time (in other words, leave the poll open until the 29th, like she says) or if she will close it 2 days prematurely like she did last time. I am also curious to know who came up w/ those 2 options. One of them is OK and the other (#2) is hideous. How do you create a pleasant scrapbook product out of that hot mess?

Anonymous said...

^^^^
She used an actual poll this time usually you can set up deadlines for it to automatically close on the date chosen.

As for the swatches, she didn't alter them or add or take away colors at all this time so I say that was a good call on her part... I kind of like that she opened the voting up to the public as well. Maybe she is learning from previous mistakes?

Anonymous said...

^^^ didn't alter them or take out colors from what??? She never asked for suggestions in the first place, so where did those palettes come from? I get the newsletter thing she set up, and have also been checking the DST forum recently, and today was the first mention that I'd seen about the next blog train. So I'd guess that the PP was commenting on the fact that Trish seems to have just chosen 2 palettes of her own this time and I totally agree that the 2nd one is icktastic.

I know there's been lots of speculation about whether or not Alyssa had made her return to the digital scrapbooking world. Here's a part of her introduction at (at least one of) her new store:

"Hi everyone! I thought it was about time that I introduced myself. My name is Alyssa.

I am a proud resident of the beautiful island of Bermuda. I am also a mom and a full time student with a part time job. Haha. I am a little on the young side (21 years old! Don't hate me! ) I am currently single. I got engaged on Christmas Day of 2010 to my on and off boyfriend of almost 6 years but we have decided to take time to think about if marriage is really what we want.

I've been designing for about a year and a half now. I started designing in March 2010. By April 2010 I was in my first store. I kind of rushed it because I was so excited and just joined ANY store and now it is really coming back to haunt me! haha. By June 2011 I was exclusive to Elemental Scraps. I was also a designer at Funky Playground where I left due to personal reasons.

Can't wait to work with you."

I didn't know her before, but from some explanations of her I've read here, I don't think it could be anyone else.

I think she's being sarcastic. I get what she's saying. The colors are red, blues and tans but it may as well be red, green and gold because it's still so darn traditional and overused.

Yes but obviously it's what the customers want, as it's their poll in which it's so far ahead.

As a designer, I think the first palette is overused and potentially boring, but the 2nd would be near-impossible to create something from and have it turn out to be something a person would actually use to scrap their memories. So I'll go with trite and cliche and overused, thank you.

The whole "I'm young, don't hate me" thing is obviously there because she's an idiot and knows no better. When you're 21, you actually think that's cute and endearing. Then you grow up and realize that in reality it made you look like an A-class moron.

As for the ES thing, I am sure it was a typo and she meant 2010. Another indication of her idiocy. I weep for those who signed-up to sell at her store. I am ever-doubtful that she will even pay them what they're owed each month. What a hot mess this is going to be.

Likewise, I could also create something wonderful with the first palette and it wouldn't have to be holiday-themed. The fact that so many of you saw that first palette and could only think of a holiday theme is laughable. Just because the palette/swatch said Holiday Traditions doesn't mean a designer has to go that route. A few of my favorite portions from the last Blog Train were from designers who thought totally outside of the box and didn't just dish out a boring "fall" theme with those odd blue/brown colors. You can tell which designers have creative minds when you look at what they choose to make.

Well you didn't convince me last time not to participate just as you won't convince me this time not to participate so I guess your comments are falling on some deaf ears. Maybe it's time ya'll just give it up. Oh right anyone having anything to do with DST or the Blog Train or Trish is just..............

Get a life.

----------------------

I don't think that anyone was trying to convince you not to participate. People were just having a (rather civil) discussion about which palette they liked, and which one could be better used. There wasn't any name calling, or bashing, or (gasp!) threatening for you, personally-you, to stop participating. Although due to your foul attitude, I think it would be nice if you bowed out and spared us your negativity.

BTW your little rant there sure sounded a lot like the rant Trish posted here on the blog last time when the whole voting debacle came about.

Wait. Hold the bus. Are you all telling me that Alyssa Happy Tits has just opened up shop at ANOTHER store, not her "With Love Studio" store? Someone took her? WTF?

And how does she have time to sell elsewhere, if she's busy running this new endeavor (where she said she'd be an owner and NOT a designer)? And what happened to "I'm not going to be an owner who tries to make money off this?"

Well, I can't confirm she's behind WLS - I was told it was just Bean Bunny. But, yes, the owners at Digital Scrap Cafe added her. I would say that maybe they just don't know about her 'history', but the truth is, I don't know if they'd care.

Regardless, she's back, and I'm sure she'll start popping up at several more places soon.

Don't know. She didn't give one in her introduction and there's no siggy or links in her signature space (and I don't see anything new listed in the store - will probably open next month). She's using the username AlyAngel. Isn't that the same one she's used at DST before? Way to come back with a new identity, eh?

Told you SO would scoop up some of the better designers at SM. It's just the smart thing to do. I never thought for a minute they would take any of the newbie designers.
