I have really lost interest in the message boards, and found that I have been getting a lot more scrapping done!
I did a quick scan at DST and the thread that jumped out at me was about MyPicTales. Seems there are more than a few gals disappointed in the product, customer service and turnaround time. Seems that the owner of MPT, and DST staff have requested that criticism be kept off the board. In my opinion she can't have it both ways. She used that board like crazy to promote her product, coupons, and now that there are service issues they are requesting they be kept private. I personally would like to know both sides of the story, and I applaud those that have publically shared their experiences, both positive and negative.
Sorry - for those wanting gossip...I am just not in the "know" - I can only speculate with the rest of you on the flight of designers from SBG etc.

The sad thing is- usually those stories are true. What is even sadder? she brings all of it on herself. Nobody should feel sorry for her. She has no one left. There is no excuse good enough to not pay people the money they are owed when it's Christmas time. She is despicable.

So what is the tale this time? Has she posted it anywhere, or just told the ES designers? I'd love to hear what unbelievable events have caused this latest issue. ("UNBELIEVABLE" being the key word here) *rolls eyes* Does Joedee still have a blog, or anyplace else that she has posted about what is her version of what is going on?
Sorry to say, this probably won't open any new eyes. There's a long history of this community letting people get away with this type of behavior. The whole 'it was a mistake' attitude just encourages people like Joedee and Ashley to keep doing the same things over and over.
I predict that Joedee will pull an Ashley and come back at some point with a 'poor, poor, misunderstood me. My life is so hard and I had a breakdown' kind of story and the bleeding hearts will eat it all up, and tell her how admirable it was of her to come forward (gag) That's what they did and are still doing with Ashley, after all.

I hope this opens so many eyes and people can look back on all the Joedee fiascoes and finally judge for themselves the validity of her "claims" and know for positive that at every step of the way she stole, lied, manipulated and even made up crap to try and weasel her way back into the good graces of so many people, not caring a bit whom she destroyed along the way.
She will never show her face again. I would be a limb on it. She is slinking back under the rock she came from and enjoying what she got away with. I am sure that her kids opened a ton of presents while some of the designers at Elemental Scraps could barely afford to get their child 1 gift. She is a sickening creature and I guarantee she does not care one bit that she hurt anybody. That girl only cares about herself and anybody that knows her well knows this to be true. She is the most selfish person you will ever come across in your life. I am glad I left ES when I did.

Well, she didn't really steal from the children as it was never theirs in the first place, so it's going to be hard to prove anything, which is probably why nothing has been done. I feel sorry for the person who was the go between with Joedee and the hospital staff.

Christina Renee is another wacky bat. Just saw she is retiring all of her product at the end of the year and will be reopening in Feb 2009 with all new product. How is that a good strategy? With her track record she may reopen with new product about June and have a whole new "team" with her.
I just noticed Michelle Pearson is offering another photography class. STAY AWAY from her classes. They're a total rip off. She's very disorganized, and sometimes you don't get comments or the next lesson for weeks. Her first class ended with people just giving up on waiting for her to make comments on their pictures or post the last lessons. Posts on her private forum were demanding refunds, and she never responded to them, while all the time posting at DST. You've been forewarned.
I wouldn't touch her with a 10-foot pole. She's like another Amanda Dykan. She opens shop and closes shop. She offers classes, cashes in and then abandons.
It is a mystery to me how she can possibly stay in business like that.

And who makes you the authority on who "should quit" designing anyway? Not everyone likes exactly what you do (thank heavens!) and you are not the supreme authority on anything.
