Thanks for the link. According to that site, this blog gets almost the same daily hits as Shabby Pickle and twice as many daily hits as the GSO blog.
I played with it and noticed that sites like SSD and SO get more than twice the daily visitors of stores like A5D, GP, TDC and 9&B. Do you think that SO and SSD have way more sales than other stores. Or do you think it's because of their forum activity? I wonder if forum activity translates to sales, or if the active site community is just "hanging out" for fun and not shopping. I think it's interesting.

I don't know if you realize it, but a lot of employers Google their potential employees before hiring them. The more you continue to stir things up, the more bad links appear online for your future employers to read. You may not care about your online persona, but your future employer is bound to. And with the current job market, there are so many people looking for employment, that you never know what might be the one thing that will cause you to be passed over.

I don't think that seems obvious at all. I doubt 9th & Bloom has been around long enough to get that many names from one customer. Using many different names is something that I would think happens over time not today I'll be Tiffany and tomorrow Alyssa.

One question? Why would you redo your blog to match new packaging if none of it mattered anyway and you were retiring in a few days? I don't believe you were retiring at all, at least not until you realized that you really did screw up your reputation and wouldn't be getting anywhere.

I didn't know who Studio Demo was until I looked her up at DST. I am honestly confused as to how such a no-name blah designer managed to garner so much attention here. I was looking at that kit of SMJs. I have to say that I'm really kind of shocked that she did that. She has been around long enough to know better. I have to assume that since the kit is still there after this long, she must have had permission to use those Jolee's items. No one has any update on that I guess?
On the blog train...meh. The pieces weren't that bad IMO. I agree that the colors could have been better, but they weren't totally bad. I kind of like the monkey theme, and I thought that there were a few cute minis there. I might go back and check it out later to see if I can find anything useable.

Maybe I'm a softie but I don't really believe she's evil. At least (as much as I read here) she's only been devastatingly destructive to herself. She's not in the wrong regarding the Shilo incident. This is an anonymous smack blog. I laugh when someone posts and tells us what we should or should not be talking about. I think one of the rules on this blog is that we can discuss whatever we want to. I read a lot here that I don't like. I don't like the foul language and I don't like the immature posts that sound like my 16 year old daughter. But I accept that they are a part of being on an anonymous blog. Those posters have as much right to post what they want as I have to post what I want.

After poking around BG I found a lot of odd things about Alyssa. In some posts she claimed her mother's name was Janet and in another she said her mother's name was Andira. She was also accused of being a girl named Tiffany on BG and admitted to "stealing" some of Tiffany's pictures and using them as her own but claimed to not know Tiffany. Tiffany from BG was also from Bermuda apparently which is where Alyssa says she's from. Now Tiffany's profile on BG says she's from Boston where Alyssa has also claimed to live. Fast forward to now and Alyssa is being accused of being someone named Tiffany again yet this time she claims it's because she has a sister named Tiffany. Way too many coincidences if you ask me.
Another thing to think about: the IP addresses I have for Alyssa all point to Kansas.
I'm going to just conclude that she's one screwed up person who doesn't deserve for us to waste anymore of our time on her. I don't think she's any of the people she's claimed to be, nor lives in any of the places she's ever said she does. She definitely has some sort of personality disorder.
I'm questioning whether it's a personality disorder... or whether she's just a digital pirate with a fake persona (or seven) who can't keep all her stories straight, and that's why nothing ever adds up. I'm just curious, where did you find that out? Another person has mentioned her uploading random crap to FPD's FTP. Just wondering if there's another post somewhere detailing all of her damage. If she really did do that, it could be prosecuted depending on where she really is located.

The owners have ZERO interest in doing so, and unless you can convince the hosting company to shut it down, the site itself persists. It's set-up under the guise of having another purpose (the site)... the piracy part is just hiding in the background, in forum threads. Every time someone discovers it, they quietly hide it and then it reappears a few days later elsewhere on the site.

Thanks. I just don't get why some people added green. I know green and yellow would be expected in a Monkey theme kit, but when you make a collab, you really should stick with the palette provided. I've done a collab once where the other designer added other colors because she felt like it. That just pissed me off.

I'm not familiar with how access works when you are a designer at a consignment digi store, but wouldn't it be dangerous for any one person to have access to other designers digi designs??
I am just an average scrapper, not a designer. I am not active on any CT's, although I have been in the past. I am not active in any "scrapbook community", I don't post on the message boards, and I don't post my layouts online anymore. I read the Digi boards for entertainment, and am constantly amazed at what people share on the internet. I freely admit to reading the scrapbook smack blogs, it is a guilty pleasure.

Thanks for the link. According to that site, this blog gets almost the same daily hits as Shabby Pickle and twice as many daily hits as the GSO blog.
I played with it and noticed that sites like SSD and SO get more than twice the daily visitors of stores like A5D, GP, TDC and 9&B. Do you think that SO and SSD have way more sales than other stores. Or do you think it's because of their forum activity? I wonder if forum activity translates to sales, or if the active site community is just "hanging out" for fun and not shopping. I think it's interesting.

I don't know if you realize it, but a lot of employers Google their potential employees before hiring them. The more you continue to stir things up, the more bad links appear online for your future employers to read. You may not care about your online persona, but your future employer is bound to. And with the current job market, there are so many people looking for employment, that you never know what might be the one thing that will cause you to be passed over.

As the OP here ... I work hard as a designer. I have a job outside of designing and I'm a mum. I design because I love it, but the truth is reputation matters - I've been in enough forums over the years to know that those who just like to cause shit deserve to not have internet.
Anyone here will agree reputation matters - otherwise they wouldn't been slamming SD for all this shit.

I didn't know who Studio Demo was until I looked her up at DST. I am honestly confused as to how such a no-name blah designer managed to garner so much attention here. I was looking at that kit of SMJs. I have to say that I'm really kind of shocked that she did that. She has been around long enough to know better. Well silly, she was the one posting too. People were only responding to her posts. Now that she has deleted her posts and she quits posting people will move on.

This is a very bizarre thing to say.
This is an anonymous smack blog. I laugh when someone posts and tells us what we should or should not be talking about. I think one of the rules on this blog is that we can discuss whatever we want to. I read a lot here that I don't like. I don't like the foul language and I don't like the immature posts that sound like my 16 year old daughter. But I accept that they are a part of being on an anonymous blog. Those posters have as much right to post what they want as I have to post what I want.

Anyway, I think we were already moving on until someone came and started the sabotage issue, which makes it half interesting again since the OP said it affects stores and designers.

THAT'S the only part you found to be bizarre?! The whole effin' thing was bizarre. Lunacy on parade.
After poking around BG I found a lot of odd things about Alyssa. In some posts she claimed her mother's name was Janet and in another she said her mother's name was Andira. She was also accused of being a girl named Tiffany on BG and admitted to "stealing" some of Tiffany's pictures and using them as her own but claimed to not know Tiffany. Tiffany from BG was also from Bermuda apparently which is where Alyssa says she's from. Now Tiffany's profile on BG says she's from Boston where Alyssa has also claimed to live. Fast forward to now and Alyssa is being accused of being someone named Tiffany again yet this time she claims it's because she has a sister named Tiffany. Way too many coincidences if you ask me.
Things that make you go hmm.
Another thing to think about: the IP addresses I have for Alyssa all point to Kansas.
I'm going to just conclude that she's one screwed up person who doesn't deserve for us to waste anymore of our time on her. I don't think she's any of the people she's claimed to be, nor lives in any of the places she's ever said she does. She definitely has some sort of personality disorder.

I'm questioning whether it's a personality disorder... or whether she's just a digital pirate with a fake persona (or seven) who can't keep all her stories straight, and that's why nothing ever adds up. Now that I know about the Baby Gaga connection (that is one SERIOUS piracy site), I'm leaning toward thinking that it's possible she just created too many "fake people" to aid in her piracy plots, and it's all coming around to bite her in the ass. This could certainly explain why she seems to have zero concern about her reputation being shot to hell, and why she sat for the better part of an entire evening last night and did everything possible to ruin herself further. Hmm.
If Baby Gaga was a SERIOUS pirate site as you say it is then it would have been shut down!
Alyssa, or whoever she is, deleted collab FTP files from MORE than just the store that let her go ... she left on good terms, came back and deleted every single collab kit from he collab ftp.
I guess it's a lesson learned - change the collab fpt passwords every time any designer leaves, whether on good terms or not. But it's still a really shitty thing to do.

I'm just curious, where did you find that out? Another person has mentioned her uploading random crap to FPD's FTP. Just wondering if there's another post somewhere detailing all of her damage. If she really did do that, it could be prosecuted depending on where she really is located.

I think I did concede that the store should have changed the passwords. However that doesn't make what Alyssa did OK by any means.

Ha. You are obviously a wet-behind-the-ears rookie in this industry if you're naive enough to say this. Do you have any idea how many times people in the digi industry have tried to get sites like this shut down? The owners have ZERO interest in doing so, and unless you can convince the hosting company to shut it down, the site itself persists. It's set-up under the guise of having another purpose (the site)... the piracy part is just hiding in the background, in forum threads. Every time someone discovers it, they quietly hide it and then it reappears a few days later elsewhere on the site.

Thanks. I just don't get why some people added green. I know green and yellow would be expected in a Monkey theme kit, but when you make a collab, you really should stick with the palette provided. I've done a collab once where the other designer added other colors because she felt like it. That just pissed me off.

Wow. She really thinks people are stupid. Someone needs to call her out on it. I personally cannot do that but I hope someone else can.
If it is the same person, how could she not know that stores and forums can easily cross-reference IPs. It is VERY easy to do.
But forums and stores need to be aware of the situation in the first place.
I am sure a few store owners, or forum admins are reading this blog. Or some designers/CT members will raise a red flag to the store owners or forum admins if they see the name Tiffany Dazzle, now that it has been brought up here.
I know I would.

Or just access to their own designs?
I'm not familiar with how access works when you are a designer at a consignment digi store, but wouldn't it be dangerous for any one person to have access to other designers digi designs??
